“the Bridge” is an annual publication released in the fall as an advancement piece, keeping alumni and donors up to date on the latest news and campus events.
125th Anniversary Campaign, 2021
In 2021, Finlandia University celebrated its 125th Anniversary.
In promoting the anniversary, logo designs were created for the campus bookstore for apparel, stickers, and pins. Sidewalk decals were designed for the Finnish American Heritage Center and placed in front of buildings on campus.

“Shark Day,” based off the tv show “Shark Tank,” is annual event hosted by members of the Admissions team as an entrepreneurial competition for local high school students to promote critical thinking and basic marketing principles.
This was the visual identity created for the event, used in promotion of the competition, as well as put on booklets and signage.
Orientation Leader Shirts, 2022

Proposed Orientation Week shirts for the Orientation Leaders (Sisu Leaders) and Resident Assistants to wear, so incoming students could identify them.

Relaxation in nature, disconnecting from technology, and a sense of adventure — the foundation of a full merchandise design project for Fresh Coast Cabins, in progress. Fresh Coast Cabins wanted illustrative graphics, with a blend of clean, modern, and vintage charm. These will be used on shirts, postcards, patches, hats, posters, and stickers for their gift shop and online store.

A freelance logo design project from 2020 for Sara’s Wohnzimmer, a new cafe residing in Germany. Wohnzimmer means ‘living room’ in German, and the owners wanted their logo to give off an approachable, home-like feeling.

Visual identity created for Darlin’ Handmades, based out of Duluth, MN. Darlin’ Handmades creates aprons, eye pillows, masks, and reusable paper towels. They were looking for a logo that personified the funky, feminine vibe of the products with a handmade, crafty feel.
